Families have secrets, and some of the secrets can break someone's heart to the point that they can decide to take their lives.
There's nothing painful like growing up thinking that the people who raised you are your biological parents only to find out no they are not, but you were adopted. Worse hearing it from a stranger.
A heartbreaking story of a little girl who allegedly killed herself after discovering that she was adopted was shared on social media.

This is one case that breaks my heart, we don't usually publish every story, some we refer to and try to get help with due to sensitivity and complexity.
Sindiswa s case breaks my heart 17 November 2022 we were contacted by Lerato looking for help in locating Sindiswa s Mother, who left her in Hospital in 2007, Lerato s family adopted Sindiswa and took care of her very well in Ivory Park Ext 2.
Unfortunately, one community member decided to tell Sindiswa that she is not from that family.
That's where the problems started when she started to look for her biological mother.
29 November 2022 Myself (Mfanelo) and Mr Shabangu visited Sindiswa s Home, spoke to her, and promised to get her help.
We agreed that while we will be getting social workers to help us as she is still a minor, meanwhile we asked her to tell us what she wanted to persuade, she told us about acting, we contacted Thabang Maduna who owns a Theater Production Company and he agreed to take Sindiswa.
Sindiswa was happy with the good news.
Only if we knew it was not enough and it was too late.
18 December 2022 Sindiswa consumed poison and was hospitalized.
