Wednesday, several areas of Accra were flooded after hours of intense rainfall in the capital city.
Among the locations impacted by the flooding were Kaneshie First Light, Ofankor Barrier, Taifa Junction, and Madina Market.
While there was heavy traffic in affected areas, some drivers had difficulty navigating through floodwaters in other locations.
The rain began in various locations around 9 a.m., intensified from midday to evening, and progressively impeded traffic flow.
Some individuals took to social media to convey their concern over the flooding in their regions.
The Madina Market in the La-Nkwantanang Madina Assembly was also affected by the flooding, as merchants fought to save their merchandise.
The Accra-Winneba Road was also flooded, compelling commuters to use only one side of the two-lane road.
