On the morning of Tuesday, May 30, 2022, it was rumored that the legendary Ghanaian football player Dogo Moro had died.
Moro was a former defender for Asante Kotoko and the Black Stars senior national team.
He was instrumental in Ghana's victories at the Africa Cup of Nations in 1963 and 1965 and was a member of the Kotoko team that won the CAF Champions League in 1979.
His significant contribution has earned him the tremendous honor of being named after one of the most prestigious fields in his origin, Asawasi.
On Tuesday, the former football player will be buried in accordance with Islamic customs. Today at 2:00 pm, the burial will take place in Dogo Moro Park.
