They claim I'm unfit for the presidency because I don't speak Big English -
Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, a prospective presidential candidate of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), has criticized those who claim he is not qualified to be the party's 2024 presidential nominee.
The outspoken member of parliament for Assin Central stated that his detractors claim he is not "presidential material" because he does not speak impeccable English like some of his competitors.
According to him, the youth require a candidate who will provide them with jobs and alleviate their sufferings, as opposed to one who is only interested in donning expensive suits and speaking Queen's English.
In addition, Kennedy Agyapong stated that it appears his opponents wish to diminish all the sacrifices he has made over the years for the NPP.
