The Plant Variety Protection Act (PVPA), Act 1050, 2020, will be decided by Ghana's Supreme Court on Wednesday, May 24.
Food Sovereignty Ghana (FSG) filed a lawsuit in the Supreme Court on November 11, 2021, contesting the Act's validity.
Both sides have presented their closing arguments, and the supreme court of the nation is expected to rule tomorrow, May 24, 2023, at 9am.
