Gynecologist Dr. Sulley Ali- Gabass worked in the Western Region' s Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital.

The accused and the victim began corresponding online and over the phone when the victim, Aziz, became Dr. Gabass' Facebook friend in September 2013.

Dr. Gabass encountered the victim in October of the same year in Kasoa New Market, where they had anal sex in front of a bank.

Dr. Gabass met the victim at the same location on December 28, 2013, about 7 p. m. , engaged in anal sex with him in his car, and then gave him a Samsung Galaxy phone and 20 Ghana cedis.

The victim afterwards became ill, and when he told Dr. Gabass, the doctor gave him paracetamol tablets. At the same location in February 2014, Dr. Gabass had anal sex with the victim.

Manasseh Azure, an investigative reporter for Joy FM, visited Dr. Sulley Ali Gabass' private Takoradi hospital on Friday, October 13, 2014, about 2: 00 p. m. Manasseh already had a covert recorder on him when he entered Dr. Gabass' office, and every conversation was captured on tape.

Since his arrest three years ago, Dr. Ali Gabass, a former doctor at the Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital in the Western Region, has been in excellent standing with Nsawam Prisons, according to all evidence.

Since his imprisonment in 2015, Dr. Gabass has been teaching his fellow prisoners at the Nsawam Prisons. This activity, along with other requirements, is advancing his chances of receiving a pardon. The family of Dr. Abass had petitioned the president, requesting a potential presidential pardon.

Superintendent Vitalis A- Iyeh, the Nsawam Prisons' head of public relations, told the press that the entire management of the facility is thinking about including his name on the list of inmates who are expected to receive a presidential pardon shortly.

At the Nsawam prisons, Dr. Sulley Ali Gabas is incarcerated for 25 years.
