In a recent interview on Cape Coast's Property FM, Stonebwoy clarified that his lack of collaboration with Blacko does not reflect any animosity or lack of intent.
Stonebwoy was questioned regarding the omission of Black Sherif from his "5th Dimension" album, which sparked the discussion.
Stonebwoy explained, "If you ask why I didn't feature Black Sherif on my 5th Dimension album, it may appear as if we have a problem, but there is none."
He emphasized that there are numerous accomplished musicians in Ghana with whom he has not yet collaborated, and that this is not a problem.
Stonebwoy emphasized that the absence of collaboration should not be misinterpreted and that it will eventually occur.
"If we haven't recorded a song yet, it doesn't necessarily imply there's a problem, but it will undoubtedly occur. He pointed out that we shouldn't interpret it as if it's something that should have already occurred, and that because it hasn't, there must be a hidden meaning.
In the future, he expressed a desire to collaborate with Black Sherif and other talented artists. "By God's grace, we have many years ahead of us, and we pray that things will only get better, so we look forward to collaborating with Black Sherif and many other artists," he added.
Despite Black Sherif's lack of response to Stonebwoy's request for a collaboration, Stonebwoy has repeatedly demonstrated his dedication to cultivating positive relationships within the music industry.
"Some of my Jamaican acquaintances were interested in collaborating with BlackSherif. In an interview with GHONE TV, he stated, "I reached out to his team but never heard back from them."
In addition, he was observed in a viral video partying with Black Sherif, which is evidence of their close relationship and his willingness to collaborate in the future.
"Shoutout to Blacko, I was chilling with Blacko right there, whoever arranged it, made us sit together, I was chilling with him," he said. "Congratulations to everyone who won, from King Promise to Epixode; I had a great time."
