AMG Medikal's appearance at the VGMA awards in a Yango has astonished social media users.
Fans criticized the rapper, who is Shatta Wale's closest friend, for not using the opportunity to promote Wale's ride-sharing company Shaxi.
Medikal was scheduled to perform at the 2023 VGMAs and submitted an intriguing entry.
The rapper arrived in a sophisticated black vehicle bearing the Yango logo.
As usual, Medikal wore a suit with a black mask covering his complete face.
Fans were quick to point out that if he was going to arrive in a ride-sharing app, Shaxi would have been the superior option.
"The day's largest yawa is Medikal arriving in a Yango, not a Shaxi. Eii Ewiase ehu oo," one devotee wrote.
Others, however, pointed out that Yango was a co-sponsor of the event, so Medikal was required to use only their services.
