Kojo Bonsu, a former candidate for flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress, has urged party members to band together and participate in the endeavor to liberate Ghana from the New Patriotic Party, stating that what lies ahead is far more important than any spilled milk.
The former mayor of Kumasi, who failed in his bid to become the opposition NDC's flagbearer, claimed that former President John Mahama's landslide victory was a clear warning to the current administration that the NDC, along with millions of dissatisfied floating voters, would bring about change at the polls in December 2024.
Dr. Kwabena Duffour, who withdrew from the contest for the party's presidential nomination, was also urged by Mr. Bonsu to consider the immense value he brings to the party and to work with it to unseat the NPP, which is destroying the country.
"Now that our elections have concluded, I would first like to congratulate H.E. John Dramani Mahama on his victory. His landslide victory is a resounding and clear warning to the ruling government that the NDC, along with millions of dissatisfied drifting voters, will bring about change at the December 2024 elections.
"I also request my senior colleague. Dr. Kwabena Duffour should contemplate the great value he contributes and join the party so that we can all seize power from the nation-destroying NPP.
"Regardless of the circumstances surrounding the electioneering process and the election's outcome, we must now all join the rescue mission of liberating our mother Ghana from the modern imperialism and colonialism practiced by this NPP government in a benevolent democracy.
"What lies ahead is far more significant than any spilling milk. Prior to the general elections of 2024, we cannot afford to lose a single endeavor, and we must be relentless in our pursuit of victory. Together, we will be unconquerable.
