Kenya's Directorate of Criminal Investigations has caught an 18-year-old male student who tried to sneak into a nearby girls' secondary school.

The suspect is a student at Gatugi Day secondary school in Nyeri county. He was caught trying to meet his girlfriend at the girls' school by pretending to be a student there.

He wore a female uniform and walked with a group of girls to their dorms, so this is what people say. The male student was taken into custody after he asked where his supposed girlfriend was.

The DCI said in a statement that the 18-year-old's plan to meet his girlfriend was stopped in its tracks when other girls saw him and raised the alarm.

The restless young man tried hard to find his girlfriend in a crowd of girls walking to their dorms, but he couldn't find her.

"The girl was suspicious because the voice sounded strange and husky. When she looked closer at the person asking the question, she saw that the fool with a big chest and hairy chin was actually a man dressed in their school uniform."

The student had put pieces of clothing in his chest to make it look like he had female breasts.

"She started screaming right away, which made the other girls scream too and send them running in different directions, almost causing a stampede."

After all the noise at the school, the guard ran to the dormitories and caught the suspect as he tried to run away.

The school's principal called the police, who quickly arrived and arrested him.

When asked, he told the officers that his girlfriend had asked him to come over for some unspecified business. He was found with three condoms, a cell phone, and a lighter.

The rest of the statement:

"However, three condoms, a cell phone, and a lighter were found on him, and he was taken to the Othaya police station where he is being charged with planning to commit a crime."
