A Pastor Paid Me Just GH¢15 After Inviting Me From Kumasi To Perform In Tema

Ghanaian gospel artiste Moses OK has described how a pastor gave him only Gh15 after he travelled from Kumasi to Tema to perform.

The Kumasi-born gospel musician claimed in an interview with Adom FM that the business of gospel music wasn't very lucrative when he was young.

"At certain times, somebody might invite you for a programme and give you transport for 50 cedis. I can still remember performing in Tema after being invited from Kumasi. I came in an STC bus. The transport cost was reasonable at that time.”

After the programme, the man gave me 15 cedis. Because of the way I was ministering, I got sick in the car. We had a lot of problems like that; some people threw money at me, but they took everything," he said bitterly.

Moses OK's songs, including 'Osoro Taawakye' and 'Nkakra Nkakra', have been hugely successful.
