Actor Deyemi Okanlawon started an interesting debate online when he said that most famous Nollywood actors and probably most famous actors in the world are actually broke.
His confession was in a warning he sent to his coworkers. He said they shouldn't always go for the highest-paying roles or the highest-grossing movies, because those things don't always mean a "big bag."
He says Don't always go for the most money or the most features... try to go for HIGHEST EARNING more often.
Netizens quickly responded to the post. One Twitter user said that he had always thought that fame and money went hand in hand. The Twitter user wrote, "I thought fame brought money?"
Deyemi didn't agree and explained how it works as he explained: There are a lot of famous people who are broke... Fame is a side effect; what brings in the money is talent and the grind (work strategy and work ethic).
