After reportedly scamming her church members, Ghanaian fetish priestess turned evangelist Nana Agradaa is now suffering the full force of the law.
Both times that Agradaa has been detained, bail has been granted. She eventually raised the required assurances for her bail terms and was freed.
Komfo Agradaa has now been taken into custody a third time after being freed a second time.
Agradaa was detained by the police and brought before the Accra Circuit court in connection with a third case that also involved misleading her church's members.
She is appearing before the third Circuit Court in Accra on six counts of defrauding by false pretenses and charlatanic newspaper advertisements.
Nana Agradaa was granted bail in the amount of GH $50,000 with two sureties, one of whom had to be a public employee making at least GH3,000, by the Circuit Court Four, which was presided over by Mrs. Kizita Quashie.
It's not really apparent if Agradaa can comply with this restriction after struggling to fulfill her previous two bail requirements.
The case has been postponed until January, so unless the priestess can comply with the requirements, she might remain in jail until then.
A netizen mocked her in response to her most recent arrest and suggested that she just move all of her possessions into the jail preko.
