The vociferous Member of Parliament for Assin Central Constituency in the Central Region and a potential aspirant for the governing New Patriotic Party's flagbearer position, Mr. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, has expressed his belief that Alan Kyerematen, another aspirant, deserves to be the party's flagbearer if he himself believes he deserves it.
Mr. Agyapong made this statement during an evening socio-political program on Sompa FM in Kumasi. He also took a jab at Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia's followers, whom he described as insulting.
When asked about Alan's supporters saying "aduro ne so" (it's his turn), Mr. Agyapong responded by emphasizing that Alan was correct in saying so, as he had been involved with the party from the outset, serving as the president of the Young Executive Forum (YEF), the party's financial arm in its early days.
