Claims that Alex Ekubo is gay have been proven false by a woman named Ifeoma Ekubo, who says she is the actor's sister.
She says that being gay doesn't run in their family.

Ifeoma told Obodo Oyinbo TV on YouTube that Fancy was wrong when she said that she and Alex had never been together. Ifeoma says that Alex told her that he and Fancy had a sexual encounter in January 2022, after they had made up after she called off their wedding in August 2021.
