According to Kofi Ofosu Nkansah, Alpha Hour puts more stress on women's lives because they have to take time off work, stay up all night to pray, do housework and get the children ready for school.
Clients of Alpha Hour have taken exception to Kofi Ofosu Nkansah's claim that it causes stress to women.
Alpha Hour supporters are furious with politician Kofi Ofosu Nkansah for saying Hour Alpha makes women's lives more stressful.
He said on Facebook that women who finish work late have to stay up to attend Alpha Hour and pray if they are under the age of 12.
The cycle is repeated when they get up to clean the house and get the children ready for school.
As expected, he has received harsh criticism from Apharians for this stance.
