When it comes to relationships, men need to take responsibility for their actions. Being a man is about making sure you can stand up for yourself and those around you, especially when things don’t go as planned.
Sadly, there are some men out there who don’t understand the meaning of being a man and will try to hide behind excuses or, worse, hide behind their mother’s skirt.
A man who gives his mother his money to hide from his wife is not man enough. He is not living up to the obligations he has as a man and a husband. In order to be the man he needs to be, the one his wife married and respects, he must face the consequences of his actions.
Hiding money in an attempt to avoid confrontation is not a solution and will only make matters worse. Not only is the trust between man and wife compromised, but it can also create a feeling of abandonment for the wife. She may feel that her husband does not respect her or their relationship as much as he should.
If a man finds himself in a situation where he has to hide money from his wife, then he needs to be mature enough to sit down and talk with her about it. He needs to explain the reasons why he needs to keep the money hidden, and work with her to come up with a solution that works for both of them.
Men who run away from their responsibilities, or hide away from the truth, are not man enough. They are not taking responsibility for their actions and, in the long run, will only hurt their relationship. If a man is not man enough to face his problems head on, then he may not be ready to handle the responsibilities of marriage.
