Johnson Asiedu Nketia, the National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has made a name for himself by wearing a symbolic smock to almost every major party event.
Among the many smocks he wears, he is known for wearing one in particular to some of these events.
The smock is black and has the colors and symbols of the party on it.
In an interview, he said that when there is a battle, he often wears this symbolic smock.
The National Democratic Congress has chosen Mr. Nketia as its new National Chairman.

He said at the National Delegates Congress that he wore the smock as a sign that he was ready for the battle, which was the election.
"I wear this kind of outfit sometimes, when the situation calls for it. It's our traditional war dress, so you wear it when you're going into battle. I'm called the General of NDC for a good reason: people think that when there's a problem, I'm the one who's asked to take charge. "This is the regalia of a war general, so this is the dress for events like this," he said.
