Charles Asiedu, the son of NDC National Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, has announced his intention to contest the party's parliamentary primary in Tano South.

The former NDC Organiser for the Ahafo Region said he is the best person for the job because he helped the party win elections in the region and constituency.

Even though 4 other people are preparing to contest, Asiedu believes his constant contact with the people of the area will help him win.

If Charles wins, he will replace Dr Hanna Bisiw, who has been the NDC parliamentary candidate for the area since 2012.

The young activist told Myxyzonline.com, "I am always here with the people and they know me as a vibrant party man who has helped them in various ways."

His aim is to make the NDC as successful as possible in Tano South and to be a force for change in the area through development.

Charles Asiedu was a branch organiser for two terms and worked his way up to become the Deputy Brong Ahafo Regional Organiser of the NDC.

He was the Ahafo Regional Party Organiser just before he retired.

Asiedu was the National Campaign Coordinator for Dr Hanna Bisiw's campaigns in 2018 and 2022, when she was re-elected as the National Women's Organizer.

Asiedu holds a Master of Arts degree in Organisational Leadership and Governance from the University of Ghana Business School.

He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies (PR) from the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ).

He holds a Certificate in Political Leadership and Party Organisation from the Ghana Institute of Social Democracy (GISD).

Charles Asiedu is an expert in communications, research, governance, strategic planning, branding, political marketing and branding, and human resource development.
