Afia Schwarzenegger, the popular Ghanaian actress, comedienne, and media personality, recently shared her thoughts on a concerning incident involving a Ghanaian girl named Princess Owusu Ansah, who resides in the UK. The incident gained significant attention when Princess poured hot water on her friend and stabbed her, allegedly due to her involvement with Princess' boyfriend. Princess recorded this heinous act on video, which quickly went viral on Snapchat and other social media platforms.

During the court proceedings, Princess pleaded guilty to charges of grievous bodily harm and criminal damage at Inner London Crown Court. The prosecutor, Claudette Hamilton, recounted how Princess not only committed the assault but also shared the footage on social media. As a result, Princess was sentenced to three years in prison for her actions.

In response to this disturbing incident, Afia Schwarzenegger took to her Instagram page to address Ghanaian young girls and mothers, particularly those living abroad who often prioritize work over properly raising their children. Afia emphasized the importance of parental guidance and warned that neglecting this responsibility could lead to visiting their children in jail or even the cemetery.

Afia also directed her message to young women, urging them not to sacrifice their lives and futures for the sake of a man. She expressed her deep disappointment in Princess' behavior and emphasized the need to build strong, confident, and morally upright children who are God-fearing. According to Afia, a teenager who truly embraces faith and values would not resort to such extreme measures over a romantic relationship.

Ghanaian netizens reacted positively to Afia's post, expressing surprise that she was addressing a societal issue instead of engaging in online conflicts. They voiced their support for her viewpoint and equally condemned Princess' actions, acknowledging the importance of parental involvement and guidance in raising responsible individuals.
