Broadcast journalist Bridget Otoo has faced criticism for attempting to involve Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the recent leaked report on illegal mining in Ghana according to a report by MyNewsGH.
The report, authored by Professor Frimpong Boateng, has accused several members of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) of being involved in the illegal mining industry.
Since the release of the report, many high-ranking NPP officials have denied the allegations made against them. In a social media post, Bridget Otoo tried to implicate Dr. Bawumia in the scandal, but upon reading the 37-page report, it becomes clear that there is no mention or suggestion of his involvement in illegal mining.
As a result, some critics have called out Bridget Otoo and demanded that she remove her post. It's important to separate fact from speculation and avoid making unfounded claims about individuals without evidence to support them.
