Sad news has reached our news desk that a 46-year-old woman, Josephine Sarpong, and her 28-year-old son, Alexander Ofori, were killed by unknown attackers in their own three-bedroom apartment at Gomoa Nyame N'adom near Buduburam in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region.
The naked body of the dead woman was found in her bedroom, and the body of her dead son was found in the main hall of their home.
Some neighbors told the Millennium City Police that they could smell something bad coming from the house of the dead person.
They said that when the police forced the door open, they saw the 28-year-old man lying in a pool of blood, and later they saw the mother half naked in her bedroom.
Both bodies, which were already starting to break down, were taken to the Police Hospital morgue while the investigation is still going on.
In the meantime, Tommy Sarpong, the younger brother of the late Josephine Sarpong, is asking the Ghana Police Service to look into the deaths of their family members and catch the people who killed them.
