Tensions are rising in Akrofoum, which is near Anhwiaso in the Adansi Asokwa District of the Ashanti Region. This is because a family used a pastor's picture in an obituary for a family member.
Mr. Dumavi said that he knew the dead man and that he and Mr. Job used to go to the same church, but Mr. Job left a long time ago for reasons that Mr. Dumavi does not know.
"I won't let the funeral happen because I don't know why they used my picture."
So I'm going to pray and fast for a month before I decide whether or not the funeral should happen.
But in response to the news on Adom FM's Midday News, Kasiebo is Tasty, the head of Mr. Job's family said that was the only photo of their dead relative who had been away for over nine years that they could find in the bag.
He said that when they brought the poster home, some family members said it was the dead person, but others didn't think so.
He said that the family hasn't decided what to do next because the funeral is already planned for Friday, January 20, 2023.
