Amina Bassit, a beautiful woman who is Habiba Bassit Sinare's sister, said that the actress was right because she knows that Dagomba men are jealous and very cheap.
Amina Bassit says that Dagomba men are not only cheap and jealous, but also bad. She didn't say anything from her own experience that would have made her general statement about her sister Habiba Sinare more convincing.
After her marriage broke up, Ghanaian actress Habiba Sinare said that people from the North of the country are hard to deal with. The actress says that her claim is based on her experience with her ex-husband, Abdul Majeed Waris, who used to play for the Black Stars. In an episode of MzGee's show "Just Being Us" that hasn't aired yet, Habiba Sinare said that her countrymen made her suffer, and she has since decided to never marry a northerner again.
She said, among other things, that her in-laws sometimes put her in hard situations and stopped her from living freely.
Amina Abdul Bassit told reporters that she backs Habiba Sinare.
She was however advised to stop the generalization as it was unhealthy.
