John Kudalor, who used to be IGP, has praised the new acting IGP's skills.
He said that Dr. Akuffo Dampare is a strong leader who can't be tricked into doing things in a way that doesn't follow the rules.
On the "Pae Mu Ka" show on Onua FM, COP Kudalor told Yaa Titi Okrah that Dr. Dampare has principles and is always determined to stick to them.
"When he's sure we should do something, he'll want to see it through to the end.
Even though he works well with others, he is not easy to convince. You can't trick him.
He has a lot of rules."
On Sunday, August 1, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare started his job as acting IGP.
This is because James Oppong-Boanuh has been told to go on his last leave before he retires on October 17, 2021.
There was a Pull-out ceremony for the IGP who was leaving.
He asked people to help out Dr. Akuffo Dampare.
"In this way, I want to encourage all service members and the good people of this country to give the incoming IGP and his administration the help they need to carry out the core mission of the police service, which is to keep the peace," he said.
