Following the confirmation of six cabinet nominees in Parliament, the Chief Executive Officer of the State Transport Corporation (STC) reprimanded the Member of Parliament (MP) for Korle Klottey for some remarks he made.
In a secret ballot in which all the nominees were approved, Dr Zenator Rawlings reacted after some of her Minority colleagues joined the Majority in saying her late father, Jerry John Rawlings, "would probably have dared us all to take a lie detector test or challenged us to go and swear on Antoa [NDC MPs]!".
Korle Klottey MP, who was unhappy with the outcome, described the NDC MPs' decision to support the appointees as "cowardice".
Nana Akomea called her out for this on Peace FM's morning show 'Kokrokoo', asking: Did your father ever take an issue to Antoa in his 20 years of rule?
She needs to stop talking before it causes more problems. Let your father rest in peace," he added.
