Reno Omokri said that it was wrong for the Methodist Church in Nigeria to make a woman its first bishop.
Reno asked where in the Bible it says that a woman can be a bishop.
"Don't let a woman have more power than a man." Reno Omokri says that the Methodist Church made a mistake by appointing a woman bishop.
He pointed out that Christ had female followers who gave money to his ministry, but he didn't name them among his 12 apostles.
He also said that Apostle Paul had female followers who paid for his ministry, but he didn't make any of them elders.
He also said that the Bible was clear about what women should do in the church.
"I don't let a woman have power over a man," he said, quoting what he says is the place of women in Christianity according to the Bible.
He also said, "Islam will continue to grow over us" because Christians do things that are not in line with the Bible.
