Prophet Badu Kobi is the founder and leader of Glorious Wave Church International. His prediction about what would happen to the Black Stars in the 2022 FIFA World Cup caused a stir on social media.
The religious leader made it clear that the team will definitely move on to the next round. He also said that even if Uruguay scores first, the Black Stars will score an equalizer and win the game.
"Ghana has already made it to the next round. Even if Uruguay scores first, the Ghanaians will celebrate at the end of the game. All of Ghana will be happy about it. He wrote on his Facebook page, "God is for Ghana."
But this prophecy did not come true. It's too bad for Ghana that they lost the game to Uruguay by a score of 2 goals to 0.
Uruguay's failed attempts to score a third goal against Ghana and South Korea's 2-1 win over Portugal sealed their tear-jerking fate: they were going home with the West Africans.
The last time these two teams played was on Friday, July 2, 2010, in Johannesburg, South Africa. Again, Ghana messed up a penalty, which was caused by Suarez's handball, and lost the chance to be the first African team to make it to the semi-finals of the world game.
