Villagers in Bumula, Bungoma county, are still in shock after a seemingly immoral father-in-law shamed himself by sneaking into his married son's bedroom and sleeping with his daughter-in-law.

Masika, a 65-year-old widower, took advantage of his son's "commuter marriage" and started having an affair with Nafula, his son's wife.
Since his son works and lives in Nairobi, the senior citizen started eating dinner and spending the evenings at his son's house so he could check on his three-year-old grandson and watch TV.
The old guy started out by saying nice things about his son's wife's cooking and housekeeping skills. But one night, he went a little too far when he said nice things about her big behind that had a sexual undertone. Later, he made it a habit, and he and his friend began to pick the forbidden fruit.
The man's wife started acting strangely toward him, and he thought she was having an affair. She started making up reasons not to give him his conjugal rights when he got home, but it was his biological father who was drilling his oils.
He tried to surprise her by coming home quickly, but it didn't work. At this point, he asked a friend for help finding a native doctor named Mwikali Kilonzo to clear up his doubts. The herbalist shocked him by telling him that, yes, his wife Nafula was having an affair behind his back.
The herbalist used her black magic skills to cast spells that would catch the "thief."
A few days later, Mr. Masika's house woke everyone up in the middle of the night with loud screams.
Neighbors ran to the house because they thought there had been a break-in. When they got there, they found Masika in his son's bed with her daughter-in-law. They told his son Simiyu right away, who, by chance, was passing through Webuye on his way home from Nairobi.
By this time, the area chief and a council of elders had already arrived at Simiyu's house. They waited patiently for the man of the house to come home.
Simiyu came after an hour and a half. The council of elders offered to help find a solution.
In his defense, the old man said that the devil had tried to get him to sleep with his son's wife.
He said he was sorry and asked for forgiveness, promising to change.
Even though the woman was sent away, the old man paid five thousand shillings, two sheep to clean up, and two cocks as punishment for her bad behavior.
