On Tuesday morning, a fire broke out at the Kantamanto market in Accra. The fire destroyed shops and goods worth tens of thousands of cedis.

At the moment, no one knows what caused the fire at the Kantamanto market that burned down the shops near the train tracks.

Charles, a person who saw the fire, told Citinewsroom.com that it burned down more than 15 shops.

He said that the Ghana National Fire Service couldn't put out the fire because they had run out of water.

He did say, though, that more Fire Service vehicles have arrived to try to put out the raging fire.

So far, no one has been hurt.

The police have put up a fence around the area so that the firefighters can do their jobs without any problems.

Officers have also been sent to stop any possible looting and guide people and vehicles away from the scene of the incident.

The National Disaster Management Organisation is also helping with the drill.

Ambrose Dery, the Minister for the Interior, and the Inspector-General of Police are at the scene to see how bad the damage is and talk to the traders who were hurt.

The Chief Fire Officer is also there and is in charge of making sure everything runs smoothly.
