Interestingly, some social media users and Ghanaians have found a way to link the death of Christian Atsu to the President of Ghana. One way or the other, people are now blaming His Excellency Nana Akufo Addo for the death of Christian Atsu in Turkey.

One twitter user who started the blame stated that she is very disappointed in Akufo Addo for not doing anything whiles the building collapsed on Atsu.

@Jenniferkissli“The way you and your colleagues are very useless erh. Something happen to a citizen outside your country none of you people even traveled to the place to know the whereabouts of Atsu for about good two weeks while others were going to seek for their citizens lives. smh"

Another man who was also angry with Akufo Addo' s condolences also asked where the President was when Christian Atsu was suffering. According to him, Akufo Addo could have sent a rescue team earlier to save him but he waited until he death to post tributes.

@lorlornyopasca1: " Where were you when they were looking for him, you could have contracted or sent a rescue team to help but you didn't"

On the other hand, some believe that Christian Atsu' s death should be a lesson to Akufo Addo that one day he will also die after mismanaging the economy.

@DzotiKofi:” Mr. President, I hope you have learnt a lesson from this? You will also go but think about the level ' heartlessness' you are showing to Ghanaians and know for a fact no one will miss you.”

The final attack to the President was to be more proactive than waiting for the worse to happen before writting plenty words.

@ArapiiAllnyc: “Life is not all about sending prayer and well wishes any time the unfortunate happens what are we doing as a country and a continent to protect our people mr president you Africa leaders Ghana to be precise only talk but show no action is not always sending prayers.”
