Go Into The Forest and Act According to Your Name – Gay Activist Tells Dzata

Samuel Nartey George, the Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram, who is also known as "Dzata," has been told by Gay Activist, Alex Kofi Donkor to go and live in the forest like a lion if he truly believes that he is one according to report by MyNewsGh.

This statement was made by Alex Kofi Donkor, the Director of LGBTQ+ Rights Ghana and a humanist, who expressed his concern that Sam George acts and speaks as if LGBTQ+ individuals are not human and should be treated as animals.

Mr. Donkor also questioned whether Sam George would still be against LGBTQ+ rights if his own child wanted to express their sexuality differently.

Mr. Donkor argued that if Sam George truly believes he is a lion, he should act like one in the forest and not on other human beings. This criticism comes as Sam George is sponsoring a private member bill on LGBQTI+ rights in parliament and has been vocal about his opposition to it.

He stated in an interview on Kumasi-based Ultimate Radio that: If he feels he is a lion, he cannot be a lion on us. He has been called Dzata Dzata Dzata and he wants to act his name, not on us then he should go to the forest and do that.

The debate on LGBTQ+ rights in Ghana was reignited after US Vice President Kamala Harris made a comment about the legalization of LGBTQ+ rights during her visit, which was met with sharp condemnation by Speaker of Parliament Alban Bagbin, who urged the US to stay out of Ghana's affairs.
