The Akoko Funu singer claims that prolonged prayer in tongues is unnecessary because no one can force God to do what they want.
In an exclusive interview with Amansan Krakye, the Style Bia Bi singer claimed that some Christians make it seem as if God will only bless you if you shout and pray hysterically.
He explained:
When you wake up in the morning, just pray to thank God because "God decides on His own to bless the people He wants to bless and it's not about your long prayers.
What mother in this world will not feed her starving children unless they have prayed in tongues for hours, crying out or shouting for what they need?
Occasionally, some Christians and pastors portray God as so cruel that you have to suffer and die in order for Him to grant your requests.
Long prayers have become a hot topic of discussion on the internet thanks to Great Ampong's post and his stand on the issue.
Long prayers, according to those who practise them, are beneficial because they promote spiritual development.
