The situation surrounding Hajia4Real, a Ghanaian musician, socialite, and influencer, continues to unfold with new revelations. After being repatriated from the United Kingdom to the United States on allegations of swindling over $2 million, further details have emerged.

According to reports, Hajia4Real, who is now 30 years old, was involved with a group of scammers from West Africa between 2013 and 2019. They operated by assuming fake identities and engaging with individuals through emails, texts, and social media messages, leading them to believe they were in a relationship. This means that Hajia4Real began defrauding her victims when she was just 20 years old.

Federal prosecutors allege that she targeted older, single American men and women in a manipulative scheme known as the "lonely hearts scam." It is said that she swindled over $2 million from her victims. In one instance, she reportedly convinced a victim to send her $89,000 through 82 wire transfers, claiming the money was intended to help her father's farm in Ghana.

In response to the viral news surrounding Hajia4Real, her personal blogger, GHHyper, shared a statement on Snapchat. The blogger emphasized that all the charges against Hajia4Real are mere allegations and should be treated as such.

If Hajia4Real is found guilty of the alleged fraud, she could potentially face up to 40 years in prison. The severity of the accusations highlights the gravity of the lonely hearts scam and its impact on elderly individuals who were deceived and financially exploited.
