MzGee reportedly leaves 3Music to join UTV. Gloria Akpene Nyarku-Acquah, popularly known as MzGee and a well-known media personality in Ghana, has reportedly joined UTV.
MzGee joins the ship-shaped media company after leaving 3Music TV.
Pep Junia, a Ghanaian music executive and PR expert, provided the information.
A few days after he took over hosting duties from Nana Ama McBrown on United Showbiz, Junia reports that MzGee is joining UTV.
“End of Era: MzGee GH leaves 3 MUSIC according to a reliable source. She joins Abeka/Ablenkpe Junction’s UTV Ghana,” Pep wrote on Facebook.
MzGee has previously worked with Media General and the Multimedia Group.
Her decision coincides with a media upheaval that has seen renowned journalists leave Citi Fm, most recently AJ Sarpong.
As Nana Ama McBrown remains missing from her show, rumours are rife that she has resigned or been sacked.
