The pain escalated, prompting her family to rush her to the hospital, where she received a diclofenac injection to alleviate her discomfort.
Tragically, her condition deteriorated, and it was discovered that she was suffering from internal bleeding. In an attempt to save her life, she was immediately taken to the operating theater for urgent surgery. Unfortunately, despite the efforts of medical professionals, she did not survive the procedure.
A Twitter user, who shared this heartbreaking story, mentioned that the wedding had taken place in Lokoja on April 29. Throughout the event, the bride had been complaining of stomach pains, and when she revealed that she hadn't eaten all day, she was given a coke to drink. Even after returning to her parents' home for prayers and blessings before leaving for her husband's house as per tradition, the pain persisted.
Eventually, she was rushed to a private hospital, where a doctor administered a diclofenac injection. As her condition worsened, she was referred to the Federal Medical Center, where doctors diagnosed her with internal bleeding, requiring immediate surgery.
