Afia Schwarzenegger, a well-known comedian in Ghana, has called out the Ghana Police Service for misleading the public regarding the murder of Maadwoa, a young woman in Adum, Kumasi.
The incident involved Inspector Ahmed Twumasi, a police officer who allegedly shot Maadwoa, his girlfriend, after discovering that she planned to leave the country to be with her baby daddy. Twumasi had claimed in court that Maadwoa owed him Ghc 5,000 and refused to pay, leading to an argument that resulted in the shooting.
However, Afia Schwarzenegger has come forward with new information that contradicts the police's version of events. She claims that the real suspect is Inspector Samuel Darko, also known as Koo Sammy, and not Twumasi as the police had claimed.
Afia states that she obtained this information from her uncle and questions why the police would lie about the identity of the killer. She shared this information on social media and added, "Good morning Ghana."
