A video that has been circulating on the internet depicts a distressing situation involving personnels of the Ghana Police Service who are seen begging and kneeling before thugs in a thick forest forest.
The video suggests that the police officers in the area had a familiar relationship with the thugs.
According to the video, the police officers had attempted to arrest the thugs but were stopped in their tracks by the boys' apparent power and influence.
As the situation escalated, one of the police officers resorted to appealing to the thug’s conscience, using their existing relationship as a bargaining chip.
In order to avoid further embarrassment, the police officer was forced to kneel before the thugs and plead profusely.
The incident has sparked outrage on social media, with many expressing their frustration over police officers paying excessive respect to civilians whom they were supposed to arrest.
