The teen mother, whose name was not given, said that her guardian, whom she only called "Mr. Sunday," put her in the family way.

In Anambra state, her guardian got a 13-year-old girl pregnant. The girl was saved after her guardian did this.

This comes after she had a baby in the state not long ago.

The state ministry for the welfare of women and children took her away from her guardian and put her in a safer place.

The teen mother, whose name was not given, said that her guardian, whom she only called "Mr. Sunday," put her in the family way.

On the weekend, word spread on social media that she had given birth. This made the state ministry for women and children's welfare look for her.

The team from the ministry saved her and took her to a safer place.

Miss Chidimma Ikeanyionwu, a spokesperson for the ministry, told journalists about this on Monday. She also said that Mr. Sunday, who got the teen pregnant, was arrested by a team from the ministry on Sunday night and turned over to the police.

In an interview, the teenage girl said she was from Akwa Ibom State and that her real parents lived in Agulu, Anambra State.

She said that her guardian had a habit of defiling children, and that she wasn't the only one. She also said that the defiling started when the man's wife came to the village.

"The wife of Mr. Sunday is called Madam Ghana. All of this began when Madam Ghana went to the village. I'm not the only one taking part. Mr. Sunday also used to sleep with another girl who is seven years old.

"I told Madam Ghana about it once, and she told her husband to be careful, but when it kept happening, I couldn't do much," the victim said.

Ikeanyionwu went on to say that the person who did it would soon be charged in court.

Ify Obinabo, the Commissioner for Women and Children's Welfare in Anambra State, was quoted by Ikeanyionwu as saying that the government would not allow such immoral behavior, and since many people do it, the government would not let them go free.
