Anna Njeri (not her real name) threw out five litres of her boyfriend's herbal medicine because she had heard too many times about the catastrophic risks of unprescribed (sex erection) virility boosters for males.

“On November 11, he arrived home about 10pm carrying the concoction he said he had obtained from a Maasai herbalist,” she told Nation.

She wondered why he needed the virility-boosting potion because he had no bedroom issues. Why not receive good medical treatment if he required it? She wondered.

Saturday Magazine May 21 Experts explain why male performance anxiety is often unnecessary.

“But since he was inebriated, I believed it was better to wait until he sobered up before telling him my displeasure and misgivings. "I did not need death in my house," she says.

It was easier envisioned than done.

"I was horrified when he requested that I serve him a glass of the green foamy stuff that smelled terrible. I hesitated and he increased his voice... "When he speaks, cruelty follows, so I served him fast," she claims.

According to Njeri, the man grimaced with every gulp of the cocktail, as if he were drinking vinegar.

Trouble accompanied us to bed. She writes, "I was worried and he was eager to test his miraculous cocktail."

According to Njeri, the drink made her lover gasp for air and beat rapidly. He perspired heavily.

"He was full of compliments for the combination, signing off by adding he looked forward to buying another dose whenever he ran out of stock," she said. He spoke to his supplier".

She believed he would die if he took it one more time.

"I was sure death was in that gallon with the concoction." After drinking that glass, he changed drastically. She says, "A man cannot gasp for breath numerous times and pretend he is okay."

She writes, "I focused on my humble upbringing... My two children... my work as a bartender who had, for one year until October 2022, served a year in prison for selling beyond the authorized time."

If the man died in her rented house, she thought the odds were too high. "And I decided to kick him out of my house right then, at midnight."

She says she dumped the concoction in the ground outside her house first.

"I told him to go. She says, "He became enraged, nasty, and assaulted me."

Her injuries included facial, abdominal, back, and hand. For spilling the man's prized concoction, she was threatened with death.

However, Njeri kept her ground and got him out.

"The next morning I recorded a statement at Maragua police station." She says, "I was referred to the hospital where I was treated and given an injury assessment report."

“After being arrested and charged at the Kigumo court, the man is in remand.”
