A husband who is believed to have married a woman 18 years his junior on Christmas Eve has reportedly left his pregnant wife.
It is said that 36-year-old Travis Johnson dumped his wife Kiersten on December 24 and married – just days later – Jordan, who is only 18.
Ms Johnson took to Facebook to share the news of the split and to slam her now ex-husband.
She wrote: “So Travis decided to marry Jordan on December 24th.
“The same day he broke up with me and told me he never wanted to see me again.
“I’ve never felt so hurt and disrespected in my life.
“You can all have him.
“He’s not worth my time or energy.”
The post has since been deleted but not before Ms Johnsons’ friends and family screen-shotted it.
It is not known where or when the marriage between Travis and Jordan took place.
Speaking to a local news outlet, one of Ms Johnsons’ neighbours said: “It’s just heartbreaking.
“Kiersten is such a sweet girl and doesn’t deserve this.”

While the husband's choice to leave his wife and marry a woman 18 years younger may seem heartless, it's possible that he felt he had no other choice. It's also possible that he genuinely cares for the new woman in his life. Whatever his reasons, the consequences for the wives and children involved are invariably painful.
