Kwaku Tawiah, also known as Stargee, is a big deal on social media. He just said he is very broke in an interview.
The 41-year-old recently gained a lot of attention online for his acronym WKHKYD, means Wo kɔ hɔ kɔ Yɛ Deɛn? which stands for "What did you go there to do?". A video of him went viral after he was captured using the lines in a skit.
Despite becoming an overnight social media star, Stargee still struggles to pay his bills.
In a recent interview with Zionfelix on the Uncut show, he said that some people think he's financially stable when he doesn't have any money.
When asked if he didn't have a little over Ghc2,000 in his bank account at the time of the interview, Stargee laughed and said that what he had were "just some coins", as they say on the street.
He was quick to add that although he has no money, he has a lot of hope that things will get better one day.
The person who made the skit went on to say that his management team have also been holding him back a lot during this time of struggle.
