Alfa Mutiu Olanrewaju, 34, Adebowale Abdulsalam, 24, and Fatai Akanji, 37, were all arrested in Osogbo for having different body parts.

Osun State police spokesman, Yemisi Opalola, who paraded the suspects on Wednesday, said Fatai Akanji was the first suspect they caught during a stop and search.
He also gave them information that helped them arrest the other suspects, according to Daily Post Nigeria.
But the suspect, Fatai Akanji, admitted the crime to reporters. He said he usually buys human body parts from Ogbomoso in Oyo State for between N2,000 and N5,000, depending on the size of the body, and then takes them to Osun State where he sells them to the other suspects.
Fatai Akanji said that on the day he was arrested, he had already bought the body parts, packed them in 7 different polythene bags and hidden them in a bag of garri while travelling from Ogbomoso.
He never thought anyone would find out that he had such things. "I bought the human parts for N5,000," the suspect confessed. "And put them in a bag of garri while travelling from Ogbomoso."
Alfa Adebowale, the other suspect, said he was the one who usually sold human body parts to Fatai Akanji. He said he and Fatai Akanji met when Alfa Adebowale went to visit one of his relatives in Ifon-Osun. Since then, they have been working together to commit crimes.
However, the spokesman for the Osun State Police Command, Yemisi Opalola, thanked the public for giving the police useful information that led to the arrest of the suspects.
