I Don’t Belong To Alan’s Camp?

According to a report by MyNewsGH, the newly elected New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary candidate for the Kumawu by-election in the Constituency, Ernest Yaw Anim, has denied being associated with the Alan Kyeremanten camp. He emphasized that he did not win the primaries based on any support from NPP presidential aspirants and that his primary aim is to bring the party together.

Hon. Collins Owusu Amankwah claimed in a viral video that Mr. Yaw Anim was a member of the Alan Kyeremanten camp and suggested that his victory was a win for Alan Kyeremanten. However, in a press release issued by Mr. Yaw Anim's Campaign Team Communications Directorate, he strongly denied belonging to any division within the NPP, including the Alan Kyeremanten camp.

The statement from Mr. Yaw Anim's team acknowledged the support and prayers from all NPP members and sympathizers. However, it stressed that the primaries were a local contest and had no national undertones. The statement went on to say that the contest was not won based on the strength of any personality, as claimed by Hon. Amankwah and his surrogates. Mr. Yaw Anim's campaign team advised that Hon. Amankwah's comments in the video should not be taken seriously and should be treated with contempt.

According to the press release, Mr. Yaw Anim's main priority during the campaign was to unify the Kumawu Constituency. This message resonated with the delegates and was the reason for his victory in the primaries.
