I Find It Insulting For My Husband To Enter The Kitchen - Reverend Says

Sun, 4 Dec 2022 Source: Club Mate

In an interview, the founder of the largest church in the world, Love Of Christ Generational Church, C&S, London, Esther Ajayi, said that she thinks it's rude for her husband to come into the kitchen.

She said this in a sermon at her church. It was one of the things that surprised her about the UK when she first moved there.

In this part of the world, it is unusual to see the husband, who is supposed to be the head of the family, doing chores like washing dishes in the kitchen while the wife does nothing.

Reverend Ajayi thought the same thing before she went to the UK and met people from a different culture.

She said that when she first arrived in the UK, she was with a family and they were all eating while watching a football game.

She was surprised to see the husband carry his own tray to the kitchen and wash the dishes by himself. All of these things happened while the wife and kids were just watching a football game.

She said that she would never let that happen in her house because she thinks it's rude for her husband to do something like that in the kitchen.

"I don't care if you call me old-fashioned. When my husband comes into the kitchen, I find it rude. "Except when I need to talk to him or give him something," she says.
