Jane Wagechi from Naivasha told how she found her husband sleeping with another woman in a house next to theirs that he had rented and where he often brought other women.
She says she met her husband when she was in college. He drove a Matatu in Naivasha town, and she would see him every day on her way to school.
Jane says that after she finished her last exam, she went to his house and that's how she got married without telling her parents. Later, she got a job and needed to get some things from her parents' house, so that's when she told them she was married.
She says that her parents weren't happy, and that they asked her why she married a man she didn't know well. She thought that they hated her, so she went back to her husband's house.
She got pregnant while she was still working, and since she married him when he was still sleeping on the floor, she bought things for the house.
All this time, her husband had been nice to her, but two weeks after she gave birth, he stopped taking care of her and started sleeping outside.
She says she had to go back to work when her baby was only two weeks old. One day, her neighbor called her to tell her that her husband was with a woman in the house next door.
She went back home quickly, and when she opened the door, she saw her husband on the bed with another woman.
Jane says that her husband wasn't even worried, so he beat her and asked her what she was doing there. She went back to work crying, and that's when she decided to end her relationship with him. She went back to her parents and asked them for forgiveness.
