Faith Mugo from Mombasa tells the sad story of how she left her 13-year marriage after finding these things in her husband's phone.

She says that she grew up in Kirinyaga with her five siblings. She finished high school and was about to go to college when she met a young man and began dating him. After a few months, she changed her mind and decided not to go to college. Instead, she got married.
She says that her parents helped her and that they got married in a church. They moved to Nakuru, and she went to college there. After she finished school, she got pregnant, and she and her husband moved to Nairobi, where she found a job. She lost her job while she was pregnant, so she became a housewife.
She says that her brother showed her ways to make money online after she had a baby, which helped her support her husband. They started a business, and it did well. But as the stress got worse, her husband started drinking too much. He got drunk and started to be mean to people.
Faith says that when he was drunk, he hurt her feelings by calling her awful names. She also heard from his friends that he slept with other women besides his wife. Even though she was accused, she stayed with him.
She says that the abuse was too much for her to handle, so she told a family friend about her problems. She told her that her husband would change and that she should stay with him. Unfortunately, the abuse kept going on, and he started to hurt her physically. They also started sleeping in different rooms.
Faith says that her husband hadn't changed after thirteen years, so she decided to look into the cheating claims. She looked through his phone and was shocked to find pictures and messages between her husband and a family friend that were very sexual in nature. She was devastated to find out that her friend, with whom she talks about her marriage problems, had lied to her.
"I couldn't believe that a friend with whom I talked about my marriage problems had lied to me." She says.
She talked to her husband about it, which made them fight. He hurt her physically that night, and she left their home the next morning. She went to live with her parents, but after a while she moved to Mombasa and now owns a business there.
