I cannot bear to watch the shame being visited on my former employees – Kwesi Nduom

Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom, the Chairman of Groupe Nduom, has said that the National Pensions Regulatory Authority (NPRA) is being unfair to his former employees.

Dr. Nduom says that the NPRA has also unfairly kept Groupe Nduom from running its Tier Three Pension Scheme.

Dr. Nduom said, "I've been looking over what's happened in my absence over the past three years, and I can't stand to see my former employees treated badly by people who have used their regulatory powers to punish innocent former employees. They do this without fear because high-level officials in the current Administration don't see it.

This is what a Facebook post from Friday, January 13, 2023 says.

He asked, "How did Negotiated Benefits Company Limited get the Groupe Nduom Tier Three Pension Scheme?" How did the NPRA take a Scheme developed and managed by a Pension Trustee, a private company, at great cost and effort and give it to another Trustee on a silver platter? Is this another case of a business being taken away from a local Ghanaian Pension Trustee and given to a foreign company that Ghanaians with good connections are allegedly fronting for? Is this another instance of "calling a dog a bad name to hang it?" Why destroy yet another Ghanaian financial company?"

The founder of the People's Progressive Party (PPP) also complained that this company's workers were not paid what they were owed.

"Why is the NPRA not giving former GN employees the money they are owed from this fund when the money has already been paid by the GN Bank Receiver?" he asked.
