I'll live for 120 years, I won't join bricklayers building mansions in heaven - Oyedepo

During a sermon at a church conference in Ota, Ogun State, Pastor David Oyedepo Jnr, the son of the founder of Living Faith Worldwide, expressed his desire to live for 120 years on Earth before going to heaven.

In a friendly and conversational tone, he shared his belief that one's spirit cannot be taken away, but rather it is an individual's choice to release it. Referring to Jesus' sacrifice, he highlighted that Jesus yielded up his spirit for the redemption of humanity.

Oyedepo emphasized that he personally intends to complete his earthly journey, refusing to hurry and join the supposed bricklayers constructing mansions in heaven. He conveyed his understanding that the allotted time for him on Earth is 120 years, unless Jesus returns before then. He encouraged the congregation to resist fear and thoughts of death, emphasizing the importance of speaking life into every situation and rejecting any negative thoughts.

Ultimately, Oyedepo aimed to inspire his listeners to embrace faith, remain steadfast, and speak words of life, regardless of the circumstances they may face.
