Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, a Ghanaian politician and businessman, has explained why he is not intimidated by people with advanced degrees.
The Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central claimed in an online video that has gone viral that he is not intimidated by those who use complex English language with ominous academic credentials.
“It's not just about speaking big grammar and being a bookworm, he said, because who speaks big English and is wealthy?”
“What level of education did Bill Gates have? It's not just about your big grammar, but it's important to educate yourself, there's no two ways about it, he said.”
“But if you get too confident that you're the one with the greatest education and the best grammar, you'll end up working for Kennedy Agyapong, he boasted.”
Lest I be intimidated by your great grammar, he continued, "I understand that I'm a peasant who has worked hard and God has also blessed me.”
In the viral video, he declared: "I will use my Assin Donpem L/A Middle School to dismiss your PhD because I'm practical, case closed.”
